What makes you mad when dealing with other companies? And how can you stop your customers from feeling the same way about your social enterprise? A dissatisfied customer tells another nine people on average, which can severely undermine your marketing strategy. This workshop will cover marketing tactics such as the Balanced Scorecard that will enable you to stay one step ahead of your competition by understanding and anticipating the needs of your customers. These techniques will allow you to manage and monitor performance to ensure that you receive bouquets, not brickbats from your customers. The session will run from 9.30 until 12.30 with refreshments and lunch provided. To book, contact Nade Townsend on 0116 222 5010 or email n.townsend@case-da.co.uk

This event offers a unique opportunity to participate in a national lecture series sponsored by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has warned us that the world is warming far more quickly than scientists forecast just two years ago. This event seeks to challenge the design and development industries to respond with urgency to the environmental issues this raises. Our two guest speakers, Michael Pawlyn and Alison Nimmo, have both been involved in the development of environmentally sustainable projects of the highest calibre - seeking to both mitigate against climate change impacts and adapt to the inevitable global warming which society now faces.

Increasing firms are being asked to provide Social Accounts, as well as financial accounts, when bidding for contracts as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility strategy. But what is social auditing and accounts? And how does a social enterprise business measure its social, environmental and ethical impact on its community and customers? This workshop will demonstrate how social accounting can give your social enterprise competitive edge and bring rewards to your financial bottom line through incorporating the triple bottom line of social, environmental and ethical concerns. The session will run from 9.30 until 12.30 with refreshments and lunch provided. To book, contact Nade Townsend on 0116 222 5010 or email n.townsen@case-da.co.uk
