New Start is more than just a magazine; we are also a graphic design agency and an ethical printing service.
Print with principles…
As a magazine publisher, we buy a lot of print. This won’t come as a surprise to many of our readers, but it does mean that we can offer an excellent printing service for any materials you may need to produce. Because of the volume of print we use we have been able to negotiate a substantial discount, which we can pass on to you, enabling you and your organisation to use the print budget you have more effectively.
We can print leaflets, flyers, booklets and all sorts of other material and are happy to quote for print only or print and design. We’ve already printed material for numerous organisations including Business Link, the National Empowerment Partnership, CLES, The Home Office, Empower Support for the Voluntary Sector, Yorkshire Forward, Dinnington Area Regeneration Trust, a travel company and a local bed & breakfast (!).
Our print supplier has been awarded the ISO 14001 environment management systems award, is powered predominantly by green electricity, and is actively working with the Carbon Trust to implement energy saving solutions to reduce its carbon footprint.
We print using clean vegetable oil-based ink, on paper which is sourced from European Union FSC grade forests where more trees are planted for the future than are felled each year; all paper is processed using Elemental Chlorine Free technology.
...and design that makes a difference!
As well as cost effective printing, we also offer our design services at a competitive rate.
Our experience publishing the award-winning New Start magazine, read by paying subscribers throughout the UK, means that we know how to create effective design that has a big impact on a wide audience. Many of our readers like the work they see in our magazine so much that they have also become regular design clients.
Our range encompasses everything from one off promotional pieces to advertising campaigns, websites, annual reports, and publications. Design on a consultancy basis is also available. We will work with you to help make your flyers, business cards, posters or other material both effective and stand out.
Based in Sheffield’s Cultural Industries Quarter, we design and print for regeneration and social enterprise clients, universities, think tanks, public, private and voluntary sector organisations all over the UK. Some of our recent clients include Key Fund Yorkshire, Natural Economy North West, The University of Sheffield, BURA and Action for Blind People.
