New Start is, in the words of its readers: ‘the best 3rd sector and regeneration publication’ and ‘a must read for keeping up to date’.
It was launched in 1999 as the first weekly magazine to cover the community regeneration sector. Its informative mixture of news, features, opinions and job ads make it essential reading every Friday.
As a news-led weekly we bring our readers what they need to know about what’s going on in the regeneration sector and how it affects their projects and programmes. Our ‘Opinion’ pages – with analysis and (sometimes heated) debate from our own journalists and other columnists are very popular and always make for lively reading.
Features go into more depth to give readers information which helps them in their work. And our very popular learning curve section gives readers a useful and practical ‘how to…’ guide on a different subject every week.
In addition to our editorial content, New Start carries an excellent range of new job and tender advertisements; a ‘coming soon’ section of forthcoming events; and columns rounding up new deals, opportunities and personnel moves in the sector.
We’re as passionate as our readers are about creating sustainable communities and we aim to engage with our readers, offer them unrivalled content whilst making the magazine accessible, lively and exciting. We always welcome letters, ideas for stories and features, and posts on our blog.
You can subscribe to receive New Start in printed or ezine format every week, or request a free sample copy. And you can also subscribe to our free weekly ‘hotnews’ email bulletin to get the main news stories emailed to you every week by clicking here.
